Terms & Conditions

1) All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions and our online safety policy. By entering the child for the Oxbridge Elite Education (OEE)’s online tutoring course, the terms and the online safety policy will be deemed to have been accepted by the parent or carer.

2) Students will be sent joining instructions.  Please ensure you read the information regarding making sure the participant’s name matches the name registered on our tutorbird student portal or we will be unable to admit you from the waiting room.

3) We are unable to accept children into classes without prior booking, due to safety restrictions online and tutor numbers. Invoice or payment instruction will be sent to parent and they should be paid in full in advance. If auto-payment has been set by parents, the payment will be collected from the saved payment method autonomously.

4) Cancellations or rescheduling by the customer:  To allow us to maintain maximum student number within a class, we may not be able to accommodate requests to change times of sessions within the course booked.  For package lesson, if you are unable to attend a particular session, we do, however offer the student the opportunity to reply the recorded video. For non-package lesson, you can give a notice least 24 hours before the session to get the credit or we can offer the recorded video.

5) For classes to run effectively, a high degree of discipline and participation is required. If our tutors deem the behaviour of a student to fall below the level required, we will refund any outstanding money paid, in the event of a child being deemed not yet ready to attend the sessions.

6) Whilst we fully hope to run all sessions, in the unlikely event of our having to cancel a course prior to commencement, all advance payments will be refunded as credit or returned in full per request.

7) Online safety policy:  Classes are conducted on Zoom.  A parent or guardian over 18 remains responsible for their children during the online classes and must be aware of what is showing on or in the background of screens at all times. The Oxbridge Elite Education does not accept responsibility for what is said or shown on screen by remote participants, and we expect parents/guardians to be vigilant at all times.  As a safety precaution we disable participant screen sharing during the online classes. Please see our Safety Policy section for full details.

8) The parent/carer agrees that the pupil shall be deemed to be in the care and control of the parent/carer throughout the course, and the parent/carer shall be responsible for the conduct and welfare of the pupil throughout the course.

9) All online tutorings are recorded for parents to review and for internal quality control. Consent notice is given at the beginning of every class as a reminder. You can turn off the video. If we would like to use any photo of students in public, we will inform you of this by in writing before, and only do so with all parents/guardians written consent.
